Refund & Return Policy

Subscription Refunds

We offer a 7-day money-back guaranteeon all new Pro subscriptions. If you're not satisfied within your first 7 days, email us at support@studygroups.appand we'll issue a full refund — no questions asked.

After the initial 7-day period, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. We generally do not provide prorated refunds for mid-cycle cancellations, but exceptions are made for technical issues that prevent you from using the Service.

How to Request a Refund

Send an email to support@studygroups.app with:

• The email address associated with your account
• Your subscription tier (Pro or Team)
• The reason for your refund request

We process refunds within 3-5 business days. Refunds are credited back to the original payment method via Stripe.

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting us. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period. Canceled subscriptions are not automatically refunded — use the refund process above if you qualify.

Promotional Pricing

If you signed up with a promotional discount (including the Early Adopter 50% off coupon), refunds are calculated based on the amount you actually paid, not the regular subscription price. The standard 7-day money-back guarantee still applies.

Free Tier

The Free tier is, well, free. No payment required. No refunds needed. Enjoy 5 AI generations and 3 quizzes per month. If you hit your limit, you can wait for the monthly reset or upgrade to Pro.
